Michael T. Drake,
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mike has over 30 years of experience in building maintenance service management, providing him with a deep and wide-ranging knowledge of the industry, an experience that MIDA's clients and employees greatly benefit from. Mike is responsible for designing and implementing MIDA Industries' strategic plan, developing services suited to MIDA's clients, overseeing the company's marketing strategy and ensuring the delivery of the highest standard service possible at a reasonable price.

Mike is a graduate of San Diego State University. His vast experience and proven ability to develop synergy in business has led him to the highest ranks of various companies in the industry. Before founding MIDA Industries, Mike served as the Los Angeles Vice-President for International Cleaning Contractors and as the Executive Vice-President for CCC Environmental Services Inc.

Mike's industry-specific certifications and memberships include: A.H.E.R.A Asbestos Training Contractor and Supervisor Certificate; Certificate for National Institute for Asbestos Training (Georgia Institute of Technology); Asbestos Removal Management Certification; CSLB - State of California Contractors License Board Licenses C61/D64, C61/D63, ASB, B, C20, C21, C61/D38; National Air Duct Cleaners Association Certification; Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS); Ventilation Cleaning Specialist (VSMR); Certificate from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC); Water Damage Restoration (WRT); Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Certificate (AMRT); Certificate from the Academy of Textiles and Flooring on Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration (FSRT), and memberships with Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA), National Asbestos Council (NAC) and NADCA.

Michelle Smith,
Office Manager & Human Resource Manager
Michelle has been with MIDA Industries since 1992. As Office Manager, she ensures the smooth functioning of the office on a daily basis. In addition, over the past 10 years, Michelle has overseen the Human Resource Management function for the company, including cash management, payroll and transfers. A results-driven professional with over 20 years' experience in accounting, including A/P, A/R, P/L, as well as Human Resource Management, Michelle helps achieve MIDA's financial goals as budgeted by offering cost analysis and maintaining expenditure controls.

Lysbeth Merida,
Operations Manager/Support
Lysbeth has more than 15 years direct experience in project coordination, executive assistance, and, with her team, in efficiently and effectively addressing daily operational tasks. She manages all aspect of direct communication with clients and operational managers, prepares contractual agreements between MIDA and its clients, and is charged with following up with customers to ensure their satisfaction. Her dynamism and professionalism have earned the respect, loyalty and support of all that she works with and MIDA's clients and project managers continue to benefit from her extensive experience.

Ketema H. Michael,
Project Manager - Environmental Division/Indoor Air Quality
Ketema has been part of MIDA's management team for the past 18 years. In his position, he is responsible for multiple complex environmental projects in Mold Remediation, Asbestos Abatement, HVAC Duct Cleaning and Industrial Cleaning. Ketema also leads the marketing and sales of environmental services to MIDA's clients in addition to overseeing safety training provided to front line staff and ensuring the smooth and safe flow of operations.

Ketema has received extensive industry-related training and holds the following certifications: Air System Cleaning Specialist (ASCS); Ventilation Cleaning Specialist (VSMR); Certificate from the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration (IICRC); Water Damage Restoration (WRT); Applied Microbial Remediation Technician Certificate (AMRT); and Certificate from the Academy of Textiles and Flooring on Fire and Smoke Damage Restoration (FSRT).

Ramon Rivera,
Project Manager - Environmental Health Support Service/Hospital Cleaning Service Division
A member of MIDA's management team for the past 14 years, Ramon leads various environmental hospital-grade projects related to the cleaning and maintenance of medical buildings. As such, Ramon is responsible for administering the proper handling of medical waste and recycling programs as well as managing and implementing policies and procedures vital to providing quality service to the users of the medical buildings that we service. In addition, Ramon is in charge of training and certifying hospital housekeeping staff in blood-borne pathogens, proper disinfecting methods, and the safe transport and handling of bio-hazardous material.

Claudia Alvarado,
Project Manager - Janitorial Services
A 20-year veteran of MIDA's management team, Claudia is the dynamic force that leads the Janitorial Services division of the company. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of janitorial services projects, including relations with clients, payroll and human resources management, training and the safe conduct of operations.

Claudia has received training and certifications as follows: HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Emergency Response), Blood-Borne Pathogens, Medical Waste Handling, How to Disinfect, Floor Care and Carpet Care.
